After hitting the cross bar a few times over the last few weeks, it was great to get our first winner on the board now we are back to racing.
Thursday night we had the long spin to Sligo and it was certainly worth it, we seen Kourvoisier win the 5.5f Maiden for the Wasters Syndicate with Tom Madden in the saddle at 80/1.
Yesterday we seen the yard favorite and ever consistent Doonard Prince finish fourth in the Apprentice Handicap in Naas with Mikey Sheehy on board, this was Doonard’s fourth run in the last three weeks which we have seen him finish fourth twice as well as two second place finishes. Doonard is a great servant to the yard and to his owner John Bowden.
State Of Glory had her first run for the yard and her owner Amanda Torrens yesterday at Bellewstown in the bumper with Patrick Mullins on board finishing third.
We have Monzoon running today in the 4.45 at Cork and several others entered over the coming days, hopefully the winners and good runs can continue.
