Cheltenham Day 1
The excitement is beginning to build ahead of the first day of the Cheltenham Festival, I have been coming here for the last sixteen years mainly as a spectator although we did have one runner a couple of years ago in the Fred winter and hopefully we will be lucky enough to have a horse good enough to go again in the future. I walked down this morning to see the horses exercising and as I walk across the course I couldn’t believe how soft the ground is , the champion hurdle is wide open, I am really looking forward to seeing the clash between

Bennie des Dieux taking on Honeysuckle this could be the race of the day and it would be great to see both mares jumping the last together upsides battling it out .
